Optimal configuration and combination of multiple lignocellulosic biomass feedstocks delivery to a biorefinery

► This study assessed the delivery of biomass feedstocks to a biorefinery. ► Biomass in the forms of bales, pellets, chops, and chips were evaluated. ► Scenarios were developed to study supply of different combinations of biomass. ► Combined supply of straw bales and wood chips is the most attractive option.
