Production of leucine amino peptidase in lab scale bioreactors using Streptomyces gedanensis

► 0.15 vvm aeration, 300 rpm agitation and 50% DO level was beneficial for biomass and LAP production in parallel fermenter. ► Conditions of 1vvm, 248 rpm, and 50% DO were disclosed the optimum for maximum enzyme production in 5-L fermenter. ► It demonstrated the growth related pattern of enzyme production by S.gedanensis under submerged fermentation.
