Factor structure of the Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory scales in psychiatric inpatients

► We conduct a factor analysis of the Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory. ► We use a more psychometrically and theoretically sound oblique rotation. ► Demoralization, Acting Out, and Detached dimensions account for 82% of the variance. ► A correlation of the results with the MMPI-A increases the validity of the analysis.
