Cognitive function predicts neural activity associated with pre-attentive temporal processing

► We explored the frontotemporal neural network model of time processing. ► “Frontotemporal” tasks were assessed as was timing using event-related potentials. ► Pre-attentive timing via MMN was related to frontotemporal cognitive tasks. ► Results suggest a link between timing, verbal memory and executive functions.
