Deficit in the preattentive processing of syllabic duration and VOT in children with dyslexia

► We examine preattentive syllables processing in children with dyslexia and controls. ► We use Mismatch Negativity with deviants in frequency, duration and voicing. ► Children with dyslexia show impaired processing of duration and voicing. ► Our results show strong relationship between acoustical and phonological processing.
