Ethnic density effects on health and experienced racism among Caribbean people in the US and England: A cross-national comparison

► Nominally similar measures of ethnic density perform differently across health and racism measures in the US and England. ► Caribbean ethnic density was associated with improved health and decreased experienced racism in the US but not in England. ► Black ethnic density showed a trend for a protective effect on the health and racism in England, but not in the US. ► Findings reflect similarities in the racialised identities of Caribbean migrants to England and African Americans.
