چکیده انگلیسی
⺠Townhall meetings were held across Canada to probe citizens' views about ethics in a pandemic, including the duty to care. ⺠Data were collected through day-long facilitated group discussions using scenarios and focus group guides. ⺠Participants' views were organized into two main themes: 1) Legitimate limits; and 2) Legitimate expectations. ⺠Our analysis can inform the articulation of acceptable norms and policy development efforts concerning the duty to care. ⺠It illustrates the urgent need to get clarity about obligations of care during times of universal vulnerability.
