A grounded theory approach to development suitability analysis

▶ A development likelihood model was built that offers major improvements over the conventional development suitability model by directly incorporating community issues in the model calibration. ▶ Using grounded theory provided new insights into designing and implementing community-based planning. ▶ These findings provide new and novel tools for non-profit organizations to engage directly in development suitability analysis to improve community-based planning processes.
