Epidemiología de la enfermedad meningocócica por serogrupo C en Cataluña, 1997-2004

In light of the results obtained with the different vaccination campaigns, we consider that future efforts to control meningococcal disease should be centered on serogroup B. However surveillance of serogroup C should not be neglected, in case there is a change in the behavior pattern of this serogroup, which, in the short-term seems to have been controlled by vaccination.
