The effects of fish oil-enriched diets on growth, feed conversion and fatty acid content of red hybrid tilapia, Oreochromis sp.

► Red hybrid tilapia were fed diets with fish oil content ranging from 0% to 12%. ► DHA accumulated in the dorsal muscle of fish fed diets rich in fish oil. ► Results show potential to culture tilapia as an n-3 enriched functional food.
