In vitro retardation of glucose diffusion with gum extracted from malva nut seeds produced in Thailand

► Malva nut mucilage has been widely consumed in Thailand in the past few years. ► Little is known about health benefit of malva nut gum. ► Our laboratory has succeeded in producing dietary fibers extracted from malva nut seeds. ► Results in this study show the potential use in body if one uses it with suitable condition.
