Simultaneous separation and purification of total polyphenols, chlorogenic acid and phlorizin from thinned young apples

► Thinned apple fruits can be used to extract and separate bioactive compounds. ► Adsorption and desorption properties of macroporous resins were studied. ► Polyamide resin showed good property to purify phlorizin. ► Phenolics, chlorogenic acid and phlorizin were separated and purified simultaneously.
