Bioassay-guided isolation and identification of antifungal components from propolis against Penicillium italicum

► Chinese propolis ethanolic extract and its fractions exhibited antifungal activity against Penicillium italicum. ► The bioactive components were identified with bioautographic TLC assay and HPLC-MS. ► The structure-activity relation of the active components was discussed.
