Broad characterization of endogenous peptides in the tree shrew visual system

► Endogenous peptides in a visual system of Tupaia belangeri were characterized. ► We have identified 52 endogenous peptides. ► Twenty-seven peptides were quantified using label free quantification technique. ► SC and V1 are in general peptide richer compared to LGN.
