Quantification of proteome dynamics in Corynebacterium glutamicum by 15N-labeling and selected reaction monitoring

► IDMS-LC-MS/MS method allows for quantification of central metabolic enzymes from Corynebacterium glutamicum. ► Enzyme amounts are stable during cultivation on glucose and acetate, but significantly differ between both growth conditions. ► Metabolic switch from glucose to acetate shows fast response in protein expression of gluconeogenetic enzymes.
