Macrophage-capping protein as a tissue biomarker for prediction of response to gemcitabine treatment and prognosis in cholangiocarcinoma

► We examined proteome of tumors, cell lines, and xenografts of cholangiocarcinoma. ► The donors exhibited the different response to gemcitabine treatments. ► We aimed to find proteins for the response commonly in three resources. ► We identified proteins for the response to gemcitaine treatments by 2D-DIGE. ► CapG was highly correlated with response to the treatments and poor prognosis.
