Thermal insulation of muscovite/glass ceramic foam for solid oxide fuel cell

► The porous ceramic foams are made by muscovite/glass composites, showing a good thermal insulation property up to 800 °C. ► The foam has very promising structural stability and expandable slightly after sintering. ► The foams have a wide range of gas permeability.
