Anion-controlled four silver coordination polymers with flexible bis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)ethane

► Four Ag(I) coordination polymers were synthesized. ► 1D, 2D and 3D structures were obtained. ► The versatile structures were controlled by the anions. ► Two complexes are inversely transfered by the anion exchange.
