Four new coordination polymers involving transition metals with 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylate and pyridyl-donor ligand di(4-pyridyl) sulfide

► BT and DPS ligands were used to obtain new coordination polymers. ► Both ligands act in bridging coordination mode in all compounds. ► All compounds present 2D networks with different topologies. ► BT ligand promotes hydrogen bond interactions. ► Hydrogen bondings are responsible for 3D supramolecular arrays.
