Chemiluminescence of the Fenton reaction and a dihydroxybenzene-driven Fenton reaction

► We determine the chemiluminescence profile of catechols driven Fenton reaction. ► Chemiluminescence was related with OH radical. ► Chemiluminescence was attributed to Fe(IV) species in the catecholates complexes.
