N-Benzoyl-N′-dialkylthiourea derivatives and their Co(III) complexes: Structure, and antifungal
چکیده انگلیسی
N-(Morpholinothiocarbonyl) benzamide (C12H14N2O2S) and N-(piperidylthiocarbonyl) benzamide (C13H16N2OS) and their Co(III) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR and NMR methods. The complex Co(C12H14N2O2S)3, crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1¯, with Z = 2, and unit cell parameters, a = 12.080(7) Å, b = 12.195(7) Å, c = 13.025(6) Å, α = 90.198(7)°, β = 95.721(7)°, γ = 106.426(9)°, V = 1830.4(17) Å3. The antifungal activity against the major pathogens responsible for important plant diseases (Botrytis cinerea, Myrothecium and Verticillium dahliae dleb) of N-(piperidylthiocarbonyl) benzamide and its complex with cobalt (III) are studied and compared with N-(morpholinothiocarbonyl) benzamide.
