Oxadiazoles and thiadiazoles: Novel α-glucosidase inhibitors

Compounds 1-37 were evaluated fro the first time for their α-glucosidase inhibitory activities and identified as point α-glucosidase inhibitors. Kinetics studies of the most active compounds were also carried out.
