Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of novel anti-cytokine 1,2,4-triazine derivatives

Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of a novel series of 1,2,4-triazine derivatives coupled to the hydrazone as cytokine (IL-1β and TNF-α) production inhibitors are investigated in this study. The results of Western blotting demonstrated that the anti-cytokine potential of synthesized compounds is mainly mediated through the inhibition of p38 MAPK signaling pathway.
