Microwave assisted synthesis, cholinesterase enzymes inhibitory activities and molecular docking studies of new pyridopyrimidine derivatives

A series of new pyridopyrimidines were synthesized under solvent free microwave assisted conditions in 0.5 min and in excellent yields. These compounds were evaluated in vitro for their AChE and BuChE enzymes inhibitory activity. Compound 7e showed the highest inhibitory activity with calculated IC50 of 0.80 and 1.18 μM against AChE and BuChE, respectively.
