Hybrids from 4-anilinoquinazoline and hydroxamic acid as dual inhibitors of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 and histone deacetylase

A series of hybrids from 4-anilinoquinazoline and hydroxamic acid were discovered as potent dual inhibitors of VEGFR-2 and HDAC. Compound 6l exhibited the most potent inhibitory activities with IC50 value of 84 nM and 2.8 nM against VEGFR-2 and HDAC, respectively.
