Potential antidiabetic activity of extracellular polysaccharides in submerged fermentation culture of Coriolus versicolor LH1

► LH1 is a new strain of Coriolus versicolor. ► We have separated and purified three polysaccharides from C. versicolor LH1. ► These polysaccharides could be explored as a novel potential antidiabetic. ► These polysaccharides included carbohydrates, triterpenoids and/or proteins. ► The ratio of polysaccharides-triterpenoids is related to α-glucosidase inhibition.
