Fabrication of novel magnetic nanoparticles-coated P(styrene-itaconic acid-divinylbenzene) microspheres

► Chemical cross-linking microspheres were prepared in this work. ► Magnetic nanoparticles were successfully coated on the microspheres. ► pH-induced precipitation method to prepare the DOX-microspheres system. ► In vitro release behavior of DOX was investigated in detail. ► Shows the preliminary exploration of magnetic targeted tumor therapy.
