Synthesis of a new amphiphilic glycodendrimer with antiviral functionality

► A new amphiphilic glycodendrimer was synthesized from lysine stearylamide. ► The structure was analyzed by NMR, IR, and MALDI TOF mass spectroscopies. ► The sulfated amphiphilic dendrimer had high anti-HIV activity and low cytotoxicity. ► The dendrimer enhanced the functionality of oligosaccharides.
