Synthesis and characterization of dithiocarbamate chitosan derivatives with enhanced antifungal activity

► Two dithiocarbamate chitosan derivatives were obtained. ► The derivatives had enhanced antifungal activity compared with chitosan. ► Both of the derivatives had a better activity against F. oxysporum than polyoxin.
