Extraction, fractionation and physicochemical characterization of water-soluble polysaccharides from Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch seed

► Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch seed polysaccharide was investigated. ► Two different molecular fractions were obtained. < The physical-chemical properties of the both fractions were characterized. ► The low molecular weight fraction showed substantial surface activities.
