The preparation and characterization of liquefied wood based primary fibers

► The primary fibers were prepared with different length/diameter ratio spinnerettes. ► Thermal stability and pore structure of primary fibers were improved. ► The formation of hydrogen bond resulting in the improvements was measured. ► The spinnerette system can be used to control the performance of primary fibers.
