Preparation, characterization and in vitro release of microparticles based on dextran-rosuvastatin conjugate

- A novel dextran-rosuvastatin conjugate (DRC) was synthesized.
- Multiple microparticles of DRC could be controlled self-assembled.
- DRC microparticles had the characteristics of sustained-release in vitro.
- The release manner could be adjusted by the morphology of DRC microparticles.
