Preparation and characterization of cellulose/hydrous niobium oxide hybrid

► Cellulose crude fibers were obtained from sugarcane bagasse and submitted to a purification. ► We modified prepared hybrid cellulose/Nb2O5·nH2O. ► Hybrid were prepared in three different proportions. ► The hybrid were characterized by XRD, FTIR, TG/DTG, DSC. ► All the characterization confirm the interaction the cellulose with hydrous oxide niobium
