Studies on the boronation of methyl-β-d-cellobioside-a cellulose model

The conversion of phenylboronic acid with methyl-β-d-cellobioside and cellodextrins was investigated by MS and 13C NMR studies to gain a basic understanding of the interactions of boronic acids with oligo- and polyglucans.
