In this work standard samples of unesterified and partially methylesterifed galacturonides, and enzymatic digests of several pectin samples possessing distinct intramolecular patterns of methylesterification were studied using capillary electrophoresis (CE) and polysaccharide analysis using carbohydrate gel electrophoresis (PACE).
