Preparation and characterization of rigid polyurethane-polyglycerol nanocomposite foams

► In the applied formulations, commercial polyol was partly replaced by biobased polyglycerol. ► Nanocomposites foams containing different types of montmorillonite clays. ► Best mechanical properties were obtained for the nanocomposite foams modified with Cloisite 30B.
