Synthesis and stabilization of high-molecular-weight poly(propylene carbonate) from ZnCo-based double metal cyanide catalyst

► ZnCo-based double metal cyanide (Co-DMC) catalyst. ► Catalysts for synthesis high-molecular-weight poly(propylene carbonate). ► The catalytic activity reached as high as 60.6 kg polymer/g Co-DMC. ► With high carbonate contents and by-product propylene carbonate below 1.0 wt%. ► Air stable PPC were prepared by increasing the carbonate content or adding antioxidants.
