Di(n-butyl) itaconate end-functionalized polymers: Synthesis by group transfer polymerization and solution characterization

The group transfer polymerization (GTP) of di(n-butyl) itaconate was explored. Although it cannot be quantitatively polymerized by GTP, our results indicated that this olefin can be used for polymer end-functionalization in GTP.
