Processing and assessment of high-performance poly(butylene terephthalate) nanocomposites reinforced with microwave exfoliated graphite oxide nanosheets

► PBT nanocomposite reinforced with MEGONS was investigated. ► Strong interaction between PBT-MEGONS allowed homogeneous dispersion of MEGONS. ► The electrical conductivity of the nanocomposites enhanced significantly. ► MEGONS is an effective and convenient nanoreinforcement for PBT. ► The study represents guidance for other polymer-graphene nanocomposites.
