Preparation and investigation of the combustion behavior of polypropylene/organomodified MgAl-LDH micro-nanocomposite

▶ PP/O-MgAl-LDH micro-nano composites by melt compounding directly were prepared and O-MgAl-LDH was synthesized via one step method. ▶ The flame retardancy of composites has been improved via evaluation the combustion behaviors by microscale combustion calorimetry (MCC). ▶ The flame retardancy of composites was further enhanced with the increasing of MgAl-LDH concentration.
