Re-analysis of previous laboratory phase curves: 1. Variations of the opposition effect morphology with the textural properties, and an application to planetary surfaces

► We reanalyze 34 previously published phase curve data of laboratory samples. ► We used three models to derive the morphological parameters A, HWHM, and S. ► These parameters are correlated to samples roughness, porosity and grain size. ► The morphological parameters are also correlated to the single scattering albedo. ► The albedo-dependency is similar to that of planetary surfaces and asteroids.
