Near-infrared spectroscopic survey of B-type asteroids: Compositional analysis

► 23 New near-infrared spectra of B-type asteroids are presented in this work. ► A total of 45 B-type asteroids are analyzed. ► B-type asteroids show a continuous trend in their near-infrared slopes. ► Meteorite analogs change also progressively from hydrated CM2 to dry CK chondrites. ► We found a strong correlation between near-infrared slope and aqueous alteration.
