Olivine-rich exposures in the South Pole-Aitken Basin

► We studied the olivine-rich exposures in the South Pole-Aitken (SPA) Basin on the Moon. ► Three important distribution patterns of the olivine-rich exposures were found. ► Based on the distribution patterns, we discussed possible scenarios how the SPA was formed.
