► LRO NAC data allow 3D optical roughness imagery of the crater Giordano Bruno (GB). ► Some flows seen on the GB inner wall can be regolith taluses, not impact melt. ► The GB whirlpool structure may be formed by viscous fluxes from crater flanks. ► GB is a young crater with an age that is on the order of 1 My.
