The role of ejecta in the small crater populations on the mid-sized saturnian satellites

► Crater ejecta plays an important role in the cratering record of the saturnian system. ► We employ a new parameter, vmin, the min velocity required to make secondary craters. ► We propose a hypothesis for the origin of craters on the regular saturnian satellites.
