Density and lithospheric structure at Tyrrhena Patera, Mars, from gravity and topography data

► A localized admittance study at the Tyrrhena Patera highland volcano is carried out. ► Load density, load thickness, and elastic thickness are constrained. ► A minimum load density of 2960 kg m−3 and load thickness of 5 km are obtained. ► The maximum admissible elastic thickness is 27.5 km. ► Tyrrhena Patera is likely composed of competent basalt.
