► Thermal infrared spectra of shocked andesine (∼An41; 16-57 GPa) change with pressure. ► Intermediate spectral bands occur relative to shocked Ca- and Na-plagioclase. ► Spectral features persist to higher pressures in andesine compared to bytownite. ► Spectra useful for analyses of cratered surfaces or lab spectra of shocked samples.
