Observed nocturnal gravity wave variances and zonal momentum flux in mid-latitude mesopause region over Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

► Mesopause region temperature, winds, and zonal momentum flux in Colorado (41N, 105W). ► Gravity wave perturbations (6 min-4 h) agree with those in New Mexico (35N, 107W). ► Flux seasonal variations agree with those in NM (35 N, 107 W) and Japan (35 N, 136E). ► Agreement in all three mid-latitude MF observations will guide GCM/GW parameterization.
