Equatorial spread-F occurrence observed at two near equatorial stations in the Brazilian sector and its occurrence modulated by planetary waves

►Ionospheric Equatorial Spread-F (ESF) occurrence and morphologic features are shown. ►Ionospheric parameters were analyzed with wavelets transform. ►Planetary wave type oscillation (PWTO) periodicities are seen in these parameters. ►Dynamo-electric field modulation by PWTO is proposed as a transport mechanism. ►ESF start time occurrence showed PWTO periodicities.
