Enjeux éthiques de l'infirmière dans la prévention de la constipation des patients hospitalisés : honte, pudeur et d'intimité
چکیده انگلیسی
This paper propose an ethical reflection to justify the implementation in nursing practice of the constipation risk assessment tool for patients hospitalized as a tool for mediation and assistance in clinical reasoning of nurses about this complex situation. Indeed, some body's functions such as bowel transit, faced with a hostile environment not are conducive to the realization of certain basic needs. Constipation is the witness. This is a real public health problem. However, its management is not integrated into the nurse's practice because it is a taboo subject, not recognized and arising little interest. Evolution's understanding of emotions raised by this function, as modesty, or shame should be an aid to the understanding of this problem. Our thinking leads on strategies to the implementation in nursing practice of this new tool. Tool being developed and validation, funded under the PHRI 2009. These notions to pudeur, shame, should be taken into account so that nurses discover the meaning and facilitate relationship with patients on this subject, so special subject, and that's a support in nurse's clinical reasoning. We think that such lighting will allow nurses to focus their activities in a more humanistic and ethical approach.
